Dear Sir, Through the columns of your esteemed paper, I want to divert the attention of the Municipal Committee Faqir Abad to the bad condition of roads and drains in this town. Road have not been repaired for the last ten years. The surface is uneven. Taxies refuse to move on this road. Even people prefer to walk on .foot and this is also very difficult. The drainage system is also defective pools of stagnant water can be seen here and there. They emit stinking smell. They are breeding ground for mosquitoes. The inhabitants of this locality always face a constant danger of breaking out various diseases. We requested the concerned authorities time and again but this had no effect on them.
